Revenge of the Oversized Stamps: Harl

Prepare yourselves to shudder O DeviantArt - I developed the urge to create more of my Oversized Stamps of Uselessness! I've taken to calling them badges - badges with little crimpy edges. Badge stamps. They're BAMPs, ok?!?! Just leave me alone - I only have Paint.Net!

But a word of warning to my friends and extended family (actually most of my extended family has one already and they still let me come over on Christmas) on The Dev - you will get one eventually. I lurk. No birthday is safe. Holidays are darkened by the shadow of dread. You might just get one for 'just becauses'!

Be afraid - be very afraid!

Admittedly, I always get scared when I develop the urge to do these also. I feel like the Universe is telling me I'm on Borrowed Time.

'Psssst Ivy - I'm going to activate the faulty artistic center of your brain now - nothing to worry about - you just have a meeting with the Uptown Express bus in two days. Go waste time making useless stamps for your friends.

This is my stamp for

She's my little sister

And the tiniest pale clown on the block

If you ever want to be friends with Harl - just go up and say 'Hi'.

It's as easy as that.

She is one of the friendliest, kindest, sweetest, and craziest people to know.

But she's my little sister so - be nice!

*Prepares the tiny fists of rage*

She is smart and sassy and makes me proud. She studies so hard and tops Alice by doing a million things before breakfast.

She's couch surfing cool as we talk about vacations and comics and girly nonsense and her wigs and steampunkery goggles and mischief and holidays and her Science Camp rocket I still have yet to see a picture of...and...well...Harley.

And she is Harley. No doubt about it. She eats, breathes, and sleeps (literally - I've seen her room) Harley. And she does the cutest little tongue sticky outie pose. She is Harley with a mad, Mad Love.

So much so she led me to start using 'Harley' as a verb to describe that intangible, uplifting, destructive, and inexplicable mad, mad love out there in the world.

I like the way this BAMP turned out. In terms of silliness and color scheme it made me smile. My only regret is I didn't use my favorite picture which will always be the best. This is a picture you magnet to the fridge in the 'Loved Ones' area (which is the mini freezer door on mine - the one where the ice cream is kept )
This says 'I'm a tiny and pale clown. Adopt me!' and I did. But Lil Sisters are all grown up now and the picture I used was equally perfect for the mischief needed. Especially since she's sneaking up on a Tardis!
